I'm a teenage girl living in the UK who loves reading and couldn't imagine living without it. My favourite genre is YA historical fiction because I can travel away from the modern world with a main character around my age and into the past whether it be full of lavish ball dresses or falling bombs. I also enjoy many other types of YA and have tried several new genres through my blog.

About the blog:
I started Books Are A Girl's Best Friend in May 2010 (but didn't start properly blogging until late summer) as a way to share what I have been reading with other book lovers and I haven't looked back since then- I love it! It is the most fulfilling thing in the world when someone finds a new book that I have recommended through a review and loves it just as much as me. I soon discovered after creating my blog, that I had joined a welcoming and wonderful community of book bloggers who love to read just as much as I do. You're very welcome to take a look around.
I want to go to that bookshop! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, we have a lot in common. Enid Blyton was my favourite author, with favourite series being Malory Towers, 'R' Mysteries (they all began with 'R' and featured Miranda the Monkey!), the Cirus series, Famous Five, Five Find-Outers... ahhh! So many. But my favourite book was The Enid Blyton Book of Brownies.
ReplyDeleteI also speak German, well I can but make many mistakes!
A very sweet blog, I look forward to the Historical Challenge :)
@Katie Haha, it's amazing!
ReplyDelete@Piper- Oh, I love those series! Although I haven't read the Enid Blyton Book of Brownies
I've only been learning it twice a week at school so I can't speak much at the moment but I did well in my recent exams :)
