In my Mailbox (1)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme started at The Story Siren which explores the contents of your mailbox and is designed to put new books on the radar, and encourage blogger interaction.

I have really enjoyed reading other blogger's IMM  posts but I don't usually get many books in a week so I haven't participated before. However I thought I'd share what I got in the past 2 weeks!

This week I recieved my first package of books for review (from Bloomsbury) and I was very excited *jumps up and down* especially as the highly anticipated Revoltuion was included.

This is the most new books that I have ever had in 2 weeks in my life before, I mostly borrow from the library!

For review from Bloomsbury:

Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly
Drawing With Light by Julia Green
Breathing Underwater by Julia Green
The Fool's Girl by Celia Rees
The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale
Enna Burning by Shannon Hale
Forest Born by Shannon Hale
River Secret's by Shannon Hale

Bought (last weekend)

The Healer's Apprentice by Melanie Dickerson
I Coriander by Sally Gardner
Tide Knot by Helen Dunmore
Deep Secret by Berlie Doherty
Nicola and The Viscount by Meg Cabot
Victoria and the Rouge by Meg Cabot

  2. I really love Bloomsbury books. I only have one book (Princess of Glass) but it's really well-made. After a trip via The Book Depository, it arrived on my doorstep unscathed. Perfect. Not even a bent corner. Plus, it's got that glossy feel and it's so pretty. XD

ROFL. So jealous you got review copies from them. They'd never send anything to me (intl').

I'm really interested in Revolution. Happy reading! Ooh, and Shannon Hale is love. At least I think she is. I haven't read her books yet, but I've bought all her books, except for Forest Born. (they're ALL in the US with my friend :'()

  3. Thanks for commenting everyone, I'll be checking out your IMMs too!

I can't wait to read them Yiota so I'm glad youre looking forward to the reviews.

Cass- I really want to read Princess of Glass it looks fantastic, I really must get round to reading/buying it!
If you're interested in Revolution then check out my previous post about the blog tour this week celebrating the UK release. I hope you get to read your Shannon Hale books soon, her fairy tale books look amazing and their cover re-design is beautiful.

You both have brillaint blogs that I really enjoy reading which is the most important thing but you are definitely worthy of review copies, if I am then so are you!

  6. Oh, I think you will enjoy The Goose Girl & sequels! The first is my favorite but just generally Shannon Hale's writing is amazing :)

Yep, I added a favicon a couple weeks ago (although I actually thought it had stopped working b/c for some reason I don't see it when I'm signed into Blogger). I think it's probably the same for you because I can see your favicon (a cute pink crown, right?) just fine!

Also, I must ask - what is peach squash?
