A Very Big Welcome
Welcome to any visitors who got here through the weekly Book Hop (a Book Party) organised by Jennifer @ Crazy for Books or Follow A Book Blog Friday hosted by Parajunkee's View so that book bloggers can share their blog with other book lovers and also find new blogs to 'follow.' To get involved all you have to do is post your blog link at the bottom of the 'linky list' on Crazy For Books and/or Parajunkee's View, answer the weekly question (for the hop) on your blog and get hopping around!
This weeks Book Hop question/topic is: "Where is your favourite place to read? Curled up on the sofa, in bed, in the garden?"
I love to read curled up in bed with a warm, fluffy blanket because that is where I feel most relaxed and it is usually fairly quiet in my room.
I hope that you enjoy taking a look round my blog and. I'd love to hear from you, so please feel free to drop me a comment.
Don't forget to leave a link to your blog in a comment so I can check it out, I will try my best to reply :D
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!
Hopping by! Hope you come by and see my ANSWER!

Happy Friday! I'm already a follower, but wanted to stop by and say hello. I've been doing a lot of my reading in the evening in bed with a bunch of fluffy pillows. Have a fantastic weekend.
ReplyDeleteHey Stephanie! I love reading in bed too, it's so comfy :)
ReplyDeleteThought you would like the BBC P&P - I have watched it SO many times lol...
ReplyDeleteAlso hope I didn't spoil Goose Girl too badly for you but kind of worried that I did! *hopes you blot out the memory of my description* It really is a fabulous story.
Oh good. I wasn't familiar with the fairytale before I read Shannon Hale's retelling, so I don't know how closely it lines up with the original :)
ReplyDeleteAs for Austen, hmmm...I'd say either Sense & Sensibility or Northanger Abbey. The first time I read Sense & Sensibility I actually had a hard time getting through it – it's a bit denser than P&P and more slow-moving. I re-read it recently, though, and because I already knew the story I was reading for the characters rather than the plot, and I got a lot more out of it. I connected much better with the main character this time round as well.
Northanger Abbey is a parody of a Gothic romance – it's lighter than some of her other books, so it will probably be a quicker read, but the characters aren't quite as fleshed-out as in some of her others. I'd be interested to hear what you think of Mr. Tilney though – I like his character but I've heard some criticism of it (and maybe I just like it cuz I've seen the movie version and the actor does an awesome job, LOL).
Ha! I love reading the same way as well! ^^
ReplyDeleteCute question this week!
